Board of Trustees

An effective Board of Trustees is critical to the World Affairs Council of Oregon’s success in fulfilling its mission. The Trustees’ responsibilities include fiscal oversight, fundraising, strategic planning, and promoting and expanding the Council's programs. Trustees are considered the Council’s most engaged ambassadors who seek to promote the work of the Council and to garner support from the community. Trustees meet three times per year in addition to participation on ad-hoc committees throughout the year. Trustees are encouraged to attend all World Affairs Council of Oregon functions.
