Student Tickets and Scholarships
- Student tickets for individual high school or college students are available for $75 - $90. Use our online order form, or call the International Speaker Series ticket line at (503) 274-7488. Ticket prices include admission to all four lectures.
- A limited number of scholarship tickets for high school students are also available for $50 each. Each school may purchase up to six tickets (5 students plus 1 teacher). From Awareness to Action! Forums
The From Awareness to Action! Forums are designed to provide students with in-depth learning experiences on important global issues and promote civic and global engagement. Students will have the oppportunity to meet community leaders and international visitors with a variety of perspectives on world issues, as well as to develop important leadership and communication skills. For example, after Bono's lecture in December, 2004, students in the Beaverton School District organized and hosted a public forum focused on the AIDS Pandemic.
From Awareness to Action! Fair
The From Awareness to Action! Fair provides an opportunity for students to display their international and community service learning projects before and during each International Speaker Series presentation. The Fair aims to highlight the issues addressed by the Speakers Series each year by including non-profit organizations that are involved in related efforts.
