Join the World Affairs Council for a special opportunity to learn about environmental issues around the globe at an International Visitor Mixer. The World Affairs Council is simultaneously hosting two international delegations with environmental focuses in July. Eight visitors from the Lower Mekong region looking at Watershed Management will join a multi-regional Environmental Law Enforcement delegation of 13 at this event.
The visitors are coming to Oregon through the International Visitor Leadership Program; the U.S. Department of States premier professional development program, which aims to build mutual understanding between the U.S. and other nations. These two groups will come together at The Benson hotel on the evening of July 29th to interact with local community members in an informal setting. Introductions and a short question and answer period will spark opportunities for conversations throughout the evening with these distinguished guests.
