This Center is housed at Portland State University under the Office of International Affairs and is a lending library of materials on global & multicultural education for the classroom and community Resources.
Our Culture Boxes on over 90 countries are brimming with maps, lessons, and hands-on treasures from musical instruments and traditional clothes to toys, games and easily transportable props.
Equity Boxes
Equity Boxes, on many aspects of multicultural education, are filled with activities on ways to support human rights both locally and globally.
Reference Library
The Reference Library is full of books, lessons, activities, curricula, and videos on international and multicultural education.
Pricing
Culture and Equity Boxes can be rented for one month at a time for a small user fee and a refundable deposit. Discounts are available for World Affairs Council members. You can download the Borrower's Agreement and Inventory Forms from here. You will need to fill-out both forms when you check out resources from the GMRC.Small Box: $10
