Join Us The World Affairs Council of Oregon is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to broadening public understanding of international affairs. In addition to the International Speaker Series, the Council offers some 40 public programs per year with experts from around the country speaking on a variety of international topics.
The Council also hosts annually some 500 emerging leaders from around the world who come to the U.S. to participate in professional exchanges, arranges training programs and internships with business persons from Russia and the Newly Independent States, and provides assistance to K-12 schools in their important work of teaching students about the world.
