We’re excited to invite you to be a part of WorldOregon’s online 9th Annual NGO Showcase! This event, hosted by the Young Professionals of WorldOregon, highlights Portland metro-based international development nonprofits.

Each year we highlight international development organizations, providing them with a platform to share organizational information with our guests. This allows attendees to learn about the nongovernmental organizations' (NGO's) work, get inspired, network, and socialize with other internationally minded young professionals.

This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, WorldOregon’s NGO showcase will be held virtually. This year we are giving six local/regional NGOs the opportunity to share the story of their impactful work with a 5-minute Ignite-style presentation. 

An Ignite presentation is a short-form presentation format where the presenter speaks with 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds – creating a fun, engaging and memorable storytelling experience.

Interested in Submitting your Organization?

We invite interested NGOs to submit their application of interest by September 24, 2021 to [email protected]. In your application, please provide a brief overview of your organization and response to the following questions:

• How did the organizations pivot during the pandemic?
• How did you serve globally, while being stuck locally?
• How did it change your mission?
• As we move forward through these uncertain times, how does your organization plan to continue carrying out its mission?
