I support WorldOregon because I believe that the world represents one, intrinsically linked, people, and by understanding each other better we can work toward improving the lives of all world citizens.
Other places I’ve worked are in Canada in Construction (houses and bridges), foundry, welding shop, conservation authority, Canadian Air Force, trade school for programmers. In country, I have worked as a Computer manufacturer (like a small Dell), and fulfillment house (mailing our junk mail).
A favorite place to be: My favourite place to be is underwater breathing through a tube. When I’m underwater, face-to-face with the fish and corals, and see how perfectly suited they are to an environment that is so hostile to humans, it humbles and excites me.
A place on my wishlist: Galapagos, Maldives, Papua New Guinea, Bora Bora, New Zealand, Australia (yes, I have more than 1 place on my wish list)
I am most proud of: I am most proud of the things I’ve done in my life that most people would never want to do because of the risk and danger involved, such as flying military helicopters, being a volunteer firefighter, skydiving and SCUBA diving.
