Why Oregon means the world to me: Oregon is a uniquely special place, and our people are deeply caring and engaged. Bringing a global perspective and dialogue to our state enriches our lives and brings our voice to the world stage.
Other places I've worked: I had the honor of serving as an Innovation Specialist at the U.S. Agency for International Development. A highlight of that work was an extended tour in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone during the Ebola outbreak.
I am excited about WorldOregon's future because: I've seen firsthand the power of conversation and connection to build thriving communities, and Oregon has a lot to gain and a lot to offer through international dialogue.
