She currently is a CNN on-air Contributor, commenting on Russia-related issues. Dougherty is an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University’s Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies and is a Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the World Affairs Council.
