Join 22 journalists from around the world and learn about the state of of journalism in their countries.

Come meet and listen to journalists from Algeria, Australia, Bahrain, Belize, Bhutan, Cameroon, Ecuador, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, People's Republic of China, Peru, Republic of Korea, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia,and Uganda share about their work.

Two journalists from Israel and Saudia Arabia will give a special half-hour program to discuss the state of journalism and press freedom in their home countries:

-Mr. Andrey Kozhinov, Military and Defense Correspondent, Israeli Plus/Channel 9 (television)

-Ms. Arafat Al Majed, Broadcast Journalist with Saudia Radio

This international visitors group is in the U.S. on a professional development program focused on Broadcast Journalism: New and Traditional Media through the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program.

This event is free but space is limited and registration is required. 

Hors d'oeuvres and Sangria will be served.  Event begins at 6:00 pm.
