A Short History of Fashion

How did major social upheavals of the 19th and 20th centuries influence the clothes we wear and the idea of a mode de masse? Focusing on important social and societal trends that have shaped (mostly French) culture over the centuries, Tolron explores the reflections of these trends in the world of fashion, playfully exploring how they alternately unify and differentiate the sexes, social classes and age groups.
