Join the Al Andalus Ensemble in welcoming spring with two performances of “Seeds of Peace.” Dynamically fusing graceful music with contemporary flamenco dance, “Seeds of Peace” unifies the world’s music cultures, marrying East and West as well as Classical and World Music genres. Al-Andalus Ensemble founders Tarik & Julia Banzi (oud & flamenco guitar) join with Grammy winner Charlie Bisharat (violinist for Alanis Morissette, The Rolling Stones, Jane’s Addiction, Yanni and others); Basque contemporary-flamenco dancer Laura Dubroka (in her first visit to the United States) and multi-lingual vocalist Emily Miles to create an emotive tapestry of sight and sound.
