Girl Rising is a feature film from Oscar-nominated director Richard Robbins about the strength of the human spirit and the power of education to transform societies. The film presents the remarkable stories of nine girls around the world, told by celebrated writers including Edwidge Dandicat, Loung Ung, Manjushree Thapa, Aminatta Forna, and Mona Eltahawy, among others and voiced by renowned actors Cate Blanchett, Selena Gomez, Anne Hathaway, Salma Hayek, Alicia Keys, Liam Neeson, Freida Pinto, and Meryl Streep. The film uses powerful storytelling to deliver a simple, critical truth: Educate girls and you will change the world!
