Hung Huang: Chinese Media and Culture Mogul

Hung Huang, CEO of China Interactive Media Group, will conclude the 2014 International Speakers Series. Often referred to as ‘the Oprah Winfrey of China’, Hung is a Beijing native who was educated in the US and is now CEO of China Interactive Media Group. She is a publisher, actor, entrepreneur, and one of China’s most popular bloggers. In 2011, Time magazine selected Hung as one of the world’s 100 most influential people.

Each year, the Series brings influential world leaders and global experts to Portland to address the most significant issues of our time. This year’s theme, ‘Women Changing the World’, highlights the work of four women who are addressing issues of global importance.
