Washington should approach Islamabad to break an impasse stemming from U.S. drone attacks and the raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound last year, Pakistan’s consul general based in Los Angeles said Monday.
Riffat Masood who’s scheduled to speak in Portland on Thursday, made her comments during a phone interview after relations reached yet another low, as Pakistan’s army slammed Washington’s findings on a NATO air strike that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers. Masood said anti-American sentiment continues to run high in Pakistan.
