Nicholas Kristof, New York Times columnist, looks at the seeds of Arab Spring

Nicholas D. Kristof has lived on four continents, traveled to 140 countries and won two Pulitzer prizes as a reporter and columnist for The New York Times. The globe-trotting journalist has always had a deep interest in China, but he has also reported extensively about genocide in Darfur, rape in Congo, human trafficking, women's rights, poverty and health issues.

On Monday, Kristof will appear on the World Affairs Council International Speakers series to talk about another subject that has long interested him: the Middle East, where the historic Arab Spring-- a wave of protests against government oppression -- is filling headlines around the world. His talk is called "Revolution in the Middle East: What Next?"
