New Partnership with Atlas Corps - Change Your Perspective...Change the World!

News | International Visitors

Great news!  The World Affairs Council of Oregon has recently partnered with Atlas Corps (and Global Ties U.S.) to help recruit organizational hosts – both private sector companies and nonprofit organizations - for talented international professionals coming to the U.S. for long-term fellowships.

Atlas Corps facilitates fellowships between rising global leaders and U.S. organizations addressing social issues. Fellows volunteer at organizations for 12 to 18 months and are enrolled in an ongoing training program. Recently Atlas Corps launched a U.S. Department of State partnership as part of a White House initiative to engage 100 civil society leaders in their fellowship, “Emerging Global Leaders Initiative-Atlas Corps Fellowship.”

Do you have a company or organization or know someone who’d benefit from this fantastic program?

  • The cost-share for your organization at $35,000 (or $45,000 for large organizations) is a bargain considering the diverse multilingual and talented mid-career professional that will be adding an international perspective to your team.

  • You get to focus on talent while Atlas Corps handles the administrative issues (stipend, insurance, visas, flights, taxes, etc.)

  • And the World Affairs Council of Oregon provides support and enrichment activities for the fellows.
