Tastes of the World is a four-week long virtual cooking series. Starting on October 9, we will be joined by leaders from all over the globe who have visited us through international exchange programs. Each of these programs will be a Cook-Alongside-Me program with plenty of opportunity for Q&A.
Our next cooks are Franco and Claudia! They are both high schoolers from Bolivia who visited Oregon in 2019 with the Youth Ambassador: Bolivia and Peru program. Franco is passionate about social communication and community engagement. He works with the local Coca-Cola company to raise money for children with cancer and those in intensive care. Claudia loves art and church; she links her two passions to her community-based project Ars Natus. She works with children and teenagers in her area to engage in their creativity as well as raise awareness of social issues that are going on globally.
