You are invited to attend our spring Culture Box Workshop where you will "dig in" and explore Culture Box treasures and visit with teachers who have had extensive experience with them. You will also meet international students and guests who will help to bring the Culture Boxes "alive"!

The Culture Boxes are a part of WorldOregon's Global and Multicultural Resource Center which houses an extensive 30 year collection representing over 100 countries. Culture Boxes are filled with hands-on, authentic realia and lessons on the art, culture and daily life of people from almost every continent.

Program Includes:

  • Hear teacher Culture Box stories

  • Travel round-robin to explore Culture Box contents

  • Meet and greet international guests and fellow teachers

  • Create activities that use Culture Boxes in every subject area

  • Learn about our new Virtual Culture Boxes
