Did you know Portland is home-base to many amazing international development non-profits? To celebrate the incredible international work being done right here our city, the WorldOregon Young Professionals are hosting their seventh-annual NGO showcase!

Each year we highlight 12-15 international development organizations giving our dynamic community of internationally minded folks like you the opportunity to learn about their work, get inspired, get involved, network, and socialize. This is a FREE event, and a great opportunity for you to connect with other like-minded folks and organizations. We hope that many great partnerships will result from this fun evening!

In fact, to get the most out of the evening, we encourage you to engage in as many ways as possible with both the tabling organizations and other event attendees. The evening's entertainment will include a Global Changemaker Drawing--every time you engage with an organization in some way, such as signing up for your mailing list, committing to volunteer, donating money, purchasing a ticket or product, etc., you will receive a raffle ticket that you can enter to win great prizes!

Here are the details:

Who: Attendees will include the WorldOregon Young Professionals—a vibrant community of early to mid-career Oregonians who are passionate about global issues—in addition to other WorldOregon members and anyone in the community interested in international work.

What: WorldOregon's Annual NGO Showcase—highlighting the work of Portland-based international development organizations. 

When: Wednesday, October 10, 6-8pm
