I have worked in higher education since 2003 as an undergraduate academic advisor (West Virginia University), live-in residence hall coordinator/director (West Virginia University), Assistant director of international student support and development (West Virginia University), and currently as Executive Director of the Office of International Services (Oregon State University).

Languages I speak: Kisii (Ethnic language), Swahili (Kenyan national Language), English (Kenyan Official Language).

A person (leader/artist/expert, living or dead) who inspires me: Nelson Madiba Mandela for formidably leading South Africa through it's turbulent history with humility, intellect and integrity.
