"The Pen Is Funnier Than the Sword” is the title given by internationally-known political cartoonist Khalil Bendib. The artist will discuss his work and accompany his remarks with a visual presentation of his recent cartoons; there will be a question and answer period after his remarks. A reception will follow in the ArtReach Gallery. This lecture is co-sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Oregon, the Muslim Educational Trust, and Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon. It is part of the First Congregational Church Oliver Lecture Series and is free and open to the public.
