Sometimes the best way to connect to the world is to get on a plane and go someplace new; when you feel safe to do so again, we hope you will join us!

Our trips and partner-travel opportunities give you behind-the-scenes perspectives, and provide opportunities for travelers to connect authentically with people across the world.

WorldOregon is a member of the World Affairs Councils of America network and partners with the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, which offers a wide range of travel opportunities to members of that network. Most trips are small-group land tours or small-ship cruises with Council leaders, expert speakers, and behind-the-scenes special events. Swiss Alps & The Italian Lakes
July 6-16, 2022
With Derrick Olsen, WorldOregon President

In July 2022, WorldOregon President Derrick Olsen plans to lead a trip to the Swiss Alps and Italian Lakes, if health and safety guidelines allow.

From glamorous St. Moritz to the glorified Italian Lakes, the beauty and culture of Switzerland and Italy come together on this epic eight-night journey like no other. Enjoy stays in St. Moritz, Switzerland, a chic resort town, and Stresa, Italy, tucked on the shores of shimmering Lake Como. As you travel through two culturally distinct countries, discover coveted destinations, untouched natural landscapes and celebrated heritage. Journey by train to Zuoz, a charming Engadine village, and wind through every-changing scenery — from snowcapped mountains to palm trees — on the Bernina Express. Cruise by private boat to the enchanting Borromean Islands and explore the lakeside communes of Bellagio and Como, villages that exude romance and la dolce vita. In Milan, stand before Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper,” and admire a centuries-old baroque palace on Isola Bella. Plus, learn about local lifestyles and traditions during an engaging meet the people sessions.

From $4,790 per person plus airfare - a savings of $250 if you book by December 17! No single supplement fee!
