Diplomacy Begins Here: Bridging Citizen Engagement and Environmental Action

This day-long public summit explores emergent best practices around:
- civic engagement and global citizenship;
- the social and economic values of education and global exchange;
- and natural resources, the environment, and trade in maximizing cultural and economic advantage.
The summit, featuring experts and influencers from across the country, offers a dynamic array of keynote talks, panel discussions, and workshops (with a special track for high-school students) that spotlights how each of these components contributes to diplomacy and the building of a more prosperous, resilient, and vibrant democracy.
In addition to the day-long public summit, the event will also feature a day of Learning Labs — tailored workshops for international visitor network professionals that focus on topics relevant to exchange programming, nonprofit management, and professional development.
