Each year we highlight 12-15 international development organizations, providing them with a table to share information and conversation with our guests. This allows attendees to learn about your work, get inspired, network, and socialize with other internationally minded young professionals. This is a great—and FREE—opportunity for your organization to gain exposure to a young, vibrant, globally minded demographic, and we hope that many great partnerships will result from this fun evening. We encourage you to bring your volunteer signups, donation envelopes, job postings, products for selling, swag to give away, and games to lure attendees to your table and engage them in learning about your work.

Here are the details:

Who: Attendees will include the WorldOregon Young Professionals—a vibrant community of early to mid-career Oregonians who are passionate about global issues—in addition to other WorldOregon members and anyone in the community interested in international work.

What: WorldOregon's Annual NGO Showcase—highlighting the work of Portland-based international development organizations. 

When: Wednesday, October 16, 6-8pm (tabling organizations arrive between 5-5:30pm)

Where: Lagunitas Community Room, 237 NE Broadway Street #300, Portland, OR 97232

Food and your first drink are on us!

Entertainment for our guests will also include a Global Changemaker Drawing--every time someone engages in your organization in some way, such as signing up for your mailing list, committing to volunteer, donating money, purchasing a ticket or product, etc., you can give them a raffle ticket that they can enter to win prizes.

Please let us know if you have something you could donate to a raffle prize or prize basket (branded swag, membership(s), event tickets, retail items, coupons for discounts, a trip or guided site visit of some sort, or anything else you can think of that attendees might find enticing.)
